Unfortunately, files may become corrupted due to damage during transmission, caused by line noise or other internet connection problems, especially if you have dial-up access or if your internet service provider is having technical problems. It is possible that there is a sufficient amount of noise on your line that is introducing errors into the download.
Another possible reason is that because of its size the file is being truncated by your browser in the download. Unfortunately, popular browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator are extremely unreliable.
